Iran's Ahmadinejad at Ground Zero?!?

I have to admit that most things I read on CNN, NYTimes.com, Fox, the CBC, Al-Jazeera, etc. I don't really assume as truthful reporting. However, this morning's cover story on CNN.com of Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's request to visit NYC's Ground Zero to "pay his respects" is ridiculously on-point. What a slap in the face and attempt to appear globally competent.

While many people believe that both the Democratic and Republican parties are mostly rich white people calling the shots in our nation, there is a truth outside of all our homeland politics - my personal friends fighting in Iraq shouldn't have to deal with the fact that the IEDs and other highly powerful devices blowing them and their brothers up are being supplied by a country led by this dirt bag. I'm sorry if that sounds like typical right-winged nonsense, but this is coming from a sound liberal Chicagoan.

I don't support the invasion of Iran nor did I support the invasion of Iraq, but come on... Ahmadinejad is picking a fight and putting his fingers where they don't belong.

Here's the whole story on CNN.com -

I hope the good people of Iran can realize the lunacy of this horrible leader.

Strawberry Letter 23

Perhaps the greatest soul song ever written was originally done by Shuggie Otis, but perfected by The Brothers Johnson. It made American pop culture through Tarantino's Jackie Brown film and in doing so, respect for a soundtrack first brought to my attention by my friend Neenan. Wow that was horrible grammar, but LISTEN TO THE SONG AND MAYBE YOU'LL UNDERSTAND .
