Even Vitter (R-Metairie) agrees

Even David Vitter, a notoriously far right-winged Republican, is condemning our federal government and its horrible response to the past and present situation in New Orleans:

"I think FEMA has been completely dysfunctional and is completely overwhelmed, and I don't know why. This situation was utterly predictable," said Vitter, R-Metairie. "It seems like there was no coherent plan, which I don't understand because this precise scenario has been predicted for 20 years," he said.

Obviously the situation is potentially worse than ever imagined. The only answer now for people is to give to the Red Cross by donating money, volunteer time, or your blood. Everyone that would donate blood in the Big Easy is gone. They need your help. Thank you.
